Why it's important to regularly service your vehicle
If you rely on your car to get you and your family around, then it's
essential to properly
care for it. Some parts of your vehicle will degrade over time and others are classed as
consumables, like brake disks & engine oils. You should have your vehicle regularly checked
by a trained professional in order to repair or replace these items as necessary. Instead of
having to pay for this work as it is carried out you can now set aside a small amount of
money each month to cover scheduled maintenance with one of our service plans.
The manufacturer of your vehicle will advise specific work to
be carried out at timed intervals or based on the number of miles you have driven.
This will vary between different manufacturers, from model to model and even by
engine type.

What is a service plan?
A service plan is a straightforward way of budgeting for your planned vehicle
maintenance. You pay a fixed sum each month into your service plan which covers
the costs of all scheduled services and MOTs included in the plan.
I thought a service plan was just for new cars?
Offering you the benefits of service plan on your nearly new or used vehicle is
just one of the ways WavMob can help to improve your car ownership experience.
It's part of our commitment to offering you the very best choice and service. We
are proud to announce that we are now able to offer the option of spreading your
used vehicle service costs at our service department.
Do I pay extra to maintain my vehicle on a service plan?
The cost of the labour and parts is the same whether you choose to take out a
service plan or pay at the point of service.
How much does a service plan cost?
In order to provide a bespoke quote for you and your vehicle please contact our
service department here.
Do I have to include a service every year if I don't want one?
If your vehicle is under manufacturer's warranty, or if you have an active silver
or gold guarantee from WavMob you will need to service the vehicle in line with
the manufacturer's guidelines to maintain your guarantee or warranty. After this
you can schedule services at any frequency you choose.
Can I cancel my service plan?
Yes. This service plan can be cancelled within 14 days of purchase. Within that
time, any monies paid will be refunded in full. Should the plan be cancelled
after 14 days a full refund will be processed, however if the plan has been used
then no refund will be made. If the service plan was purchased on a monthly
basis, it will be cancelled should a payment be missed, with no refund amount
due.
Can I transfer my service plan to a new vehicle?
Yes. The monthly cost of your service plan is based on your vehicle type, annual
mileage and service requirements. As such the monthly payment may change if you
transfer your plan to a new vehicle. Any money paid into the service plan
transfers over to the new WAV.
Do you need to perform a credit check for a service plan?
No. All work is paid for by your direct debit so there is no credit facility and
therefore no need for a credit check.
What makes the service plan inflation proof?
Because your scheduled maintenance is charged at today's rates for the duration
of the plan, you avoid paying the future increases in the cost of labour and
parts, saving you money.
Do I pay any interest?
No. The money in your service plan is your own money. The only additional charge
is a small administration charge of £1.20 each month.
My vehicle has just been serviced. Can I still take a service plan out?
Yes. You can arrange a service plan at any time. The monthly payments will change
to reflect the time between last service and your next service.
