Daily Price Checks

To ensure that you are getting the best possible deal, and we our competitive in our market, we price check our used cars daily against Autotrader, on average 90% of our stock is in line with Autotraders 'Good Price or Great Price' Indicator.

Multi-Point Inspection.

All of the used cars that we offer for sale, have been through our 89 point check and inspection, by our Vauxhall Factory Trained, and BOSCH Technicians, Inspecting the cars to ensure they comes up to our high standards, During the inspection, the technician will check the vehicles indentification, On-board electronics, Interior, Heating & Air-conditioning, Comfort features, Windows & Mirrors, Lighting, Boot & Load Area, Wheels & Tyres (Tyres must be above 3mm), Braking System (Brake pads must be above 75% Remaining), Steering, Suspension and Engine Bay & Gearbox/Transmission.

6 Month Service

All of the used cars are sold with a minimum of 6 months Service. Unlike most used car centers, At Great Central Auto we have an 7 bay Vauxhall Service Center staffed with Vauxhall Factory trained technicians, paired up with a 3 bay All Makes BOSCH Car Service Center, which means that we can carry out the required service that is needed on any vehicle we sell, So you have the peace of mind knowing that you have a minimum of 6 months before your next service is due.

Minimum 6 Month MOT

Every Car that we sell comes with a minimum of 6 months MOT remaining, When a vehicle is required to have a fresh MOT prior to sale, This will be carried out at our in-house MOT testing station at Great Central Auto in Rugby, during the MOT the MOT tester may identify a number of issues that may need fixing soon, but they are not serious enough to fail the MOT, and there is no legal requirement for them to be done. At Great Central Auto when we sell a car with a fresh MOT, we will ensure that it has no advisories, and if a vehicle is sold with an ongoing MOT certificate, we will ensure that if it did have any advisories at the time of its last MOT, all of these items have been resolved.

Technician Road Test

Once the vehicle has been through its 89 point inspection, the technician will take the vehicle for a 3 miles road test, over a predefined routes, which takes them on dual carridgeways, over roundabouts, and speed bumps, to ensure that the vehicle performs correctly, with no rattles or knocks, and no faults identified. Although not done by all used cars dealer, we feel that this is an essential part of the vehicle preparation process.

Manufacture Recalls

You may be aware that from time-to-time car manufactures may have to issue a saftey recall on their cars. If you where the owner of such a car, you would notified by post by the DVLA, the car would then need to be booked in with a main dealer, to have the Recall done. Here at Great Central Auto, we take safety issue very seriously, so we check the national .Gov database to see if there are any outstanding recalls on any of the vehicles we are selling, and arrange for the car to be booked in with a main dealer to ensure that any recalls have been completed prior to sale.

FREE 6 months Comprehensive Warranty

All of our used cars for sale in Rugby come with a minimum of 6 months Comprehensive Warranty, administrated by our partners at the Warranty Solutions Group. You also have the option to extend the warranty up to 12 months in total, for even more peace of mind.

FREE 6 months Road Side Break Down recovery.

All of our used cars at Rugby come with 6 months break down cover, so that if you do have a problem, the break down team can come out, and either try and fix it by the side of the road, or recovery you back to the Garage. You will also have the option to upgrade to the Premium Breakdown Cover for 12 months.

Complete Vehicle History & Mileage Check

Some vehicle may have a hidden past, So at Great central Auto all vehicle presented for sale are checke by our partners at Experian, they check to ensure that they are not recorded as Stolen, recorded as a write off, No outstanding finance, No third party interests, No Mileage Discrepancy, Not Imported, Not Exported, No Colour Changes. We do this, so you can be assured that the vehicle you are purchasing has no hidden surprises.

Fully Valeted

All used cars are professionally valeted prior to display and collection, to ensure that your new car is really looking its best, on your special day. Our trained valetors, use Quality AutoGlym products, to ensure the best possible finish. You even have the option to upgrade the valet to include our Diamond Bright Paint Protection, to allow you to maintain that showroom finish.

Documentation and handover

Once the vehicle has been fully prepared ready for collection, your sales consultant will prepare your handover documentation, which will include your handover checklist, to ensure that nothing has been missed, and that you are completely satisfied with the vehicle. They will also complete your FCA demands & Needs, to ensure that we have followed the correct process, when it comes to finance and insurance backed products, and you are fully aware of what you are purchasing and the benefits they provide. Your consultant will take care of the vehicle ownership change over, and will assist you in taxing the vehicle. When it comes to handing over the vehicle to you, the Sales Consultant will ensure that you are totally comfortable in you new car, and will take you through all the features and controls, and even take you for a drive, to help you settle in, before you head off.
